Deputy Manager/Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a successful and friendly care home for a Deputy Manager.

The Main Purpose of this Role:
To ensure the provision of high quality service through the efficient and effective management of staff and resources.
To assist the Home Manager of Nursing in the day to day running of the Home.

Other Duties:
To assess, plan and implement individual programmes of care and therapy designed to help residents develop their abilities and achieve their full potential.
To undertake nursing duties/shifts when required.
Constantly review the general health of all residents, including physical and psychological aspects and report any changes promptly to appropriate professional.
Develop and cultivate a wide range of activities both inside and outside the home.
Ensure all drugs and medicines are correctly ordered, stored, controlled as prescribed by the GP.
Ensure that the requirements of current legislation and any issues arising from CSCI reports are observed and acted upon as necessary.

The Successful Candidate:
Will be level one registered nurse with relevant experience and qualifications,
Effective communicator,
Successful track record,
Own car and full driving licence.
